Sarah

I grew up in Illinois and moved to Texas for a job, where I quickly fell in love with the state and its people. After meeting my husband and having three red-headed daughters, I made the decision to leave teaching and focus on raising my kids full-time. Along the way, I launched an Etsy shop selling custom gifts, which soon blossomed into a local, brick-and-mortar store.

My goal was simple: to provide our community with a place to find thoughtful, high-quality, and unique gifts—something that was desperately missing in our area. What started as a passion for creating custom products turned into a thriving local business, driven by my love for creative problem-solving. It keeps our inventory fresh, our gift boxes on trend, and, most importantly, our customers happy.

Meet Jennifer, our store manager. Jennifer’s true passion lies in the art of gifting – one could even say it's her love language. With over eight years of industry experience, including entrepreneurial ventures, she was delighted to join The Gift Bar in Colleyville. Jennifer immediately recognized the store's potential to become something truly special and eagerly embraced the opportunity to contribute to its success.

House Brand Specialist

Aleisha’s story with The Gift Bar began as a loyal customer. She enjoyed the store and the environment so much that, after retiring, she joined The Gift Bar’s sales team to stay connected and engaged. In addition to sales, she also organizes the shop’s Mahjong group, bringing people together for fun and connection. As a certified “Oh My Mahjong” instructor, she enjoys teaching classes in the evenings and on Sundays, while also leading our weekly open play group. She finds it a joy to share her love of the game and create a welcoming space for the community at The Gift Bar!
